Background

Kav Halacha is a 24-hour hotline that answers halachic questions, providing an invaluable resource for those seeking guidance on Jewish law.
The organization aimed to increase awareness and usage of their hotline, particularly on an international scale.

The Challenge
Opportunity

The primary challenge was to grow awareness of Kav Halacha and ensure that more people, both domestically and internationally, knew about and utilized their services. The organization also needed a complete rebranding and a user-friendly website to support their outreach efforts.

Strategy Session

  1. Branding and Meeting Materials:
     - Rabbis’ Meeting:
     We created comprehensive folders for an
    important meeting with the rabbis who answer the sheilos.
    These folders included materials explaining the need for the hotline and encouraging the rabbis to continue their valuable work.
    - Visual Aids: We designed large banners, roll-ups, and a list of the database to provide visual and informational support during the
    meeting.
  2. Advertising Campaign:
    - Newspaper Ads:
    We developed a series of advertisements for major newspapers to raise awareness about the different divisions ofthe organization and encourage people to call the hotline.
  3. Website Development:
    - UI/UX Design:
    We completely overhauled the old, non-user-friendly site, creating a modern, aesthetic, and easy-to-navigate website.
    - Special Features: The new website featured a real-time ticking clock symbolizing the 24-hour nature of the hotline, along with other special features to positively portray the organization.

  4. Event Marketing:
    - Lakewood Event:
    We handled the marketing for a Q&A event for women in Lakewood, held before Pesach. This included creating ads, event materials, and ensuring a strong turnout.

  5. Division Awareness:
    - Icons and Messaging:
    We created unique icons for the different divisions of the organization and developed messages and ads to explain and raise awareness for each division.
    - Growth Timeline: We designed a growth timeline showcasing the success of the organization and highlighting the need for continued support.

  • Results

    The rebranding and comprehensive marketing efforts significantly boosted the visibility of Kav Halacha. The meeting with the rabbis was
    well-supported with effective materials, encouraging continued dedication to the hotline.
    The newspaper ads successfully raised awareness and encouraged more people to use the hotline. The new website, with its appealing design and user-friendly interface, attracted around 400 users a day, greatly enhancing the organization’s online presence.
    The marketing for the Lakewood event resulted in a highly successful turnout, with many participants benefiting from the Q&A session.
    The icons and division-specific messaging clarified the organization’s structure and services, while the growth timeline effectively communicated the ongoing success and need for support. Overall, the campaign achieved its goal of increasing awareness and usage of Kav Halacha on an international level.
