MH Meats is a well-established distributor of kosher meats in the UK, with a prominent storefront in Manchester. For many years, they have been known for their high-quality products and reliable service. However, despite their strong reputation, MH Meats had an outdated logo and product labels, which did not reflect the modern and professional image they aspired to project. Recognizing the need for a brand refresh, they approached us for a new label design. Upon reviewing their needs, we proposed a comprehensive rebranding strategy.

MH Meats faced several challenges:

  • Outdated Branding: Their existing logo and labels looked old-fashioned, failing to convey the quality and professionalism of their products.

  • Promoting Specific Products: They wanted to push their deli department, particularly their unique deli boards, which were underrepresented in their marketing efforts.

Strategy Session

To address these challenges, our team developed a multi-phase strategy to rejuvenate MH Meats' brand and create a strong online presence:

    - Logo Redesign: We designed a new logo that retained a sense of tradition while looking modern and professional. We provided three sample designs, and after careful consideration, the client chose the one that best represented their vision.
    - Product Labels: We created new product labels that aligned with the updated brand, incorporating a classic yet contemporary look.
    - Departmental Branding: Each department (raw, cooked, deli, and ready-to-serve) was given its own branding with unique color coding and icons, making it easier for customers to identify and differentiate the products.
  2. Deli-cious Deli Boards:
    - Sub-brand Creation: Given the client’s desire to highlight their exclusive deli boards, we proposed creating a sub-brand named Deli-cious Deli Boards with its own identity but linked to MH Meats. This sub-brand has a unique domain name, deli-boards.co.uk, which provides an easy and memorable way for customers to access this specific product line.
    - Logo Design: The logo for Deli-cious Deli Boards was designed to resemble MH Meats' branding, ensuring brand recognition while establishing its own identity.
  3. Digital Presence:
    - Website Development:
    We started with a sophisticated and user-friendly website for Deli-cious Deli Boards, featuring an impressive UI/UX design and an integrated shopping cart for easy online ordering.
    - Corporate Website: Following the success of the Deli-cious site, we began developing a corporate website for MH Meats, with plans to include e-commerce functionality.
  4. Advertising Strategy:
    - Ad Templates: We designed ad templates for both MH Meats and Deli-cious Deli Boards, ensuring consistency with the new branding. These ads were used across various platforms, including print and WhatsApp.
